About
Living locally, Raph also studied locally at the (former) University of South Australia. Graduating from one of the best Physiotherapy programs in the country in 2021.
As an integrative Physiotherapist, the Psychosocial aspects of Raph’s Patients are front and centre. You are more than just an injured body part in isolation. You are a complex amalgamation of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects which all play various parts in a holistic treatment.
In plain English this means that you are treated as a complete system where everything can affect everything else.
It’s nice when it’s a simple muscle strain, but long term issues rarely are.

With a background in sports physiotherapy, surgical rehabilitation, arthritis management, hydrotherapy, complex chronic pain, NDIS and occupational health and safety, Raph can cater to a wide variety of Patient populations.
His passions are applying strength training as a healing modality to drive tissue changes. First you let tissues heal, then you have to make them heal. Meeting Patients at their level from sedentary to elite athlete as different levels of treatment are required for different Patients.
His other passion is working with chronic pain Patients. Treating the physical component as one aspect of a complicated, long term problem. Something which is sadly lacking in standard treatments. It is assumed that chronic Patients will arrive having had unsatisfactory treatments in the past.
Raph falls on the Dog side of the Dog v Cat debate, however controversially believes that Raccoons, when domesticated, will be superior to both Cats and Dogs and will happily expand on this topic at length.
A former NZ Army Engineer, Plant Operator and Navy Ships Diver. Scott moved into a PT career in 2004.
Coaching experience includes having coached amateur boxers, pro sprinters, pro tennis, obstacle
racers, marathon runners, rowers, semi professional AFL and soccer, defence force, ex athletes, sports teams, mums and
dads, weight loss, NDIS and everything in between.
I prefer to start clients with a thorough consultation to better
tailor their one on one sessions to meet their goals, needs and
movement capabilities (injury limitations).
